SteamPress helps New Zealand readers compare gambling products, understand conditions and identify questions to resolve before making a payment. We publish editorial guides and operator records; we do not operate gambling accounts or handle bets.
How we review and rank
Our guides use the following comparison questions. The current update adds source research and worked examples; it does not establish a new registration, deposit or withdrawal test at every listed operator.
- Withdrawal evidence — distinguish request, verification, approval and receipt; a transfer estimate is not an end-to-end payment test.
- Licensing and eligibility — match the legal company and exact domain to current regulator information, distinguishing casino rules from sports and racing rules.
- Bonus conditions — identify the wagering base, maximum stake, expiry, qualifying games and cashout restrictions.
- Games and markets — check the specific game rules or market settlement conditions, rather than relying on catalogue totals.
- Currency and payments — confirm account currency, both payment directions, fees and method-specific limits.
- Mobile access and support — locate readable terms, account controls, payment history and a documented complaints route.
The tables retain our existing editorial order. Displayed scores follow that order and are not measured payout, safety or bonus-value scores. Stored marketing amounts are not freshly confirmed New Zealand offers. Missing values remain unknown; a page update date does not mean every operator term was checked on that date.
Current regulatory explanations link to primary guidance. Illustrative calculations are labelled, and operator examples distinguish stored details from conditions you still need to check. A useful first-hand payment report would need a dated receipt, amount, currency, route, verification status and request-to-receipt timeline; this update does not supply that dataset.
Our commitment to safer gambling
A listing is not proof of a New Zealand licence or current eligibility. We link to the Gambling Helpline NZ (0800 654 655) and explain limits, self-exclusion and support. Gambling should be entertainment you can afford, never a way to make money.
